Well, it's a good idea (the ambiant parts were very well timed), but it didn't really appeal to me untill 1:13. The blatty sounds don't really work well with the beggining, and the little *tink* doesn't belong in there at all. In the beggining, it's all about ominous, drawn-out sounds. During the middle parts though, the use of the *blatt* was very creative, and it gave it a sort of MPH feel to it. The sounds that are really compatible with the Metroid series' music is industrial and electronic, but if you manage to get away with using other variants, its a whole other bag o' beans. This was really nice, but it fell short. You might want to re-visit this one though, because it has some potetial. a 4, for your efforts.

This is absolutely beautiful! You sir, get a five.
I too, heard the little snippet of 'space pirates'. Nice blend.

This is very much like the zero mission version. Very atmospheric. But the high pitched part at 0:55 could have been turned down a bit. It sounded a bit to tingly. But otherwise, great work.

This thing gave me the willies. I was playing way too much metroid, and I was listening to this in the dark. So everytime I heard the metroid, I freaked out.
This rules.
THe droning in the background gave it a nice atmosphere. 5/5 10/10.
Next halloween i'm gonna play this at my house and walk around with a decapitated head under my arm. Freak some people out.

This is how the music SHOULD have sounded in the game. But unfortunately the SNES' music could only go so far. Very good. It captures the bright, colorful, and sometimes mangled mass of plants that makes up the green brinstar. Great job.
5/5

This song just capturse the hidden, dark atmophere of metroid so well. 5/5 10/10.
I'd give you more if I could.
By the way, what program do you use?
Author's Response:
Thanks man! Sorry it took me so long to get back with you. Believe it or not, I used Magix 11 for this. As soon as I replace my hard drive, I'm getting some new programs so I can branch out into actual remixes.

ROFLMAOGMSIPL (rolling on the floor laughing my ass off and gripping my sides in painful laughter)
HOLY FLYING SPAGHETII MONSTER! (wait, wasn't this features in 'it's a halo beta'?)
I've been looking for this. I think it's the awesomest thing since the breadhead and toasterface revolution.

This is really awesome, and it helps a lot. I play a lot of intruments, but I don't know how to read music, and i'm just starting on piano. This will be really great for my first two hand song. thank you!

I agree with him, but it needed more drums and horn, to give it that triumphant feeling that the games ending music is known for. Otherwise, This is probably the best there is.
Author's Response:
I agree, but I didn't want it to sound too cluttered, so I stuck with what I had.
Thanks for the kind words.
